OUR WALK IN CHRIST ( Eph 4:1-6:20)

1.      A call to Walk worthy of His calling v 4: ex “Powered by Intellect, Driven by Values” infosys

2.      A call to walk in unity 4:1-16 unity is needed for our survival, shine, to be fruitful, to glorify God

·        Unity will not come automatically take effort v3

·        Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. V2

3.     A call to walk in purity

·         Walk in love  5:1 It is the basis – Love your God and love your neighbour as you love yourself

·        Walk as children of light 5:8 transparency, no gossip, no lies, integrity and truthfulness

·        Walk as wise and walk carefully 5:15 Right choice, right priority and God conscious

4. A call to walk in harmony (5:22-6:9)

·        Husbands and wives (5:22-33)

·        Parents and children (6:1-4)

·        Masters and servants (6:5-9)

5. A call to walk in victory (6:10-20)

·        Standing strong in the power of the Lord (6:10-13)

·        Equipped with the whole armour of God (6:14-20)

o   To fight against the devil’s schemes v11

o   Against Evil Rulers, authorities,  powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil v12

  Learning from Moses, the great spiritual leader   The backbone of FMPB is prayer and prayer group leaders. Prayer groups throughout the world are the base in which FMPB till today stands and moves forward trusting God. So, we have to give importance to the Prayer groups and their leaders. One of the things that threaten us is, lack of young leadership. Most of the leaders are getting old and the second line leadership growth is very less to our expectations. Let us pray so that God can raise many young leaders who will have the same vision and commitment as the early leaders. They should own FMPB and love this big family. The first greatest spiritual leader of the Bible was the prophet, Moses. He was a role model and a prayer warrior in human history. He had the vision of redeeming his people, which was the plan of God. So, God fulfilled His plan of redeeming the people of God from Egyptian slavery.
