Learning from Moses, the great spiritual leader

Learning from Moses, the great spiritual leader   The backbone of FMPB is prayer and prayer group leaders. Prayer groups throughout the world are the base in which FMPB till today stands and moves forward trusting God. So, we have to give importance to the Prayer groups and their leaders. One of the things that threaten us is, lack of young leadership. Most of the leaders are getting old and the second line leadership growth is very less to our expectations. Let us pray so that God can raise many young leaders who will have the same vision and commitment as the early leaders. They should own FMPB and love this big family. The first greatest spiritual leader of the Bible was the prophet, Moses. He was a role model and a prayer warrior in human history. He had the vision of redeeming his people, which was the plan of God. So, God fulfilled His plan of redeeming the people of God from Egyptian slavery. He was an outstanding leader because God chose him and guided him thro...

The Golden Rule

The Golden Rule Mathew. 7:12, Luke 6:31 Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Rajan   We should treat others as we want to be treated   Mathew. 7:12 Iron Rule "Do unto others before they do it to me." Silver Rule "Do unto others as they do unto me." Or do not Golden Rule "Do unto others as I would have them do unto me."   We have to search our hearts. Mat 5:16 People should glorify God when they see our deeds   When people fail to notice our good deeds we feel sorry, and we get angry when they saw our bad things When we see people as they are we hate but when people do not like me as I am we get irritated. ; When one does wrong, we say that how can he do that but when we do that, we say that it is very common for all the people to error . We criticize others but when others criticize us, we became annoyed. When someone suffers, we say that it is because of his sin but when we suffer we say that it is a test fo...

So...why should you go and proclaim the Gospel of Christ ?

So...why should you go and proclaim the Gospel of Christ ?    Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Rajan 1) Because Jesus has told you to go. "Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to all creation." (Mark 16:15) With these words, Jesus made it clear exactly what His disciples were to do - they were to spread His teachings in His name, preaching salvation unto the ends of the earth. (Rom. 10:18) If you consider yourself a "believer", then you must consider yourself a "disciple" of Jesus - no less called and chosen than the very first 12 apostles. There are no such things as "1st class" Christians and "2nd class" Christians - every believer is called to spread the Good News about Jesus to those who have not yet heard. Jesus' command is definite and clear - it is His great mandate, His "Great Commission" to the soldiers in His holy army. We must go, because our great General has commanded us to go. 2) You should go because the ne...

Missionary work is not an option but an obligation

Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Rajan 1.     1 .  GOD IS THE AUTHOR OF THE MISSION Even after 2000 years, the Gospel is not yet preached to all the Nations. It hurt us, if it hurt us how will it hurt our Lord. Nevertheless, a small advertisement reaches the nook and corner of the world, Why? Because we did not give the first priority to the Great Commission of God and disobey. Another reason is “ the god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.” ( 2 Cor 4:4) Individuals and the Church did not take the Great Commission very seriously. Christians became so selfish, forgetting about eternal life, Godliness and not understoo...

Why Should I involve in God’s Mission?

Why Should I involve in God’s Mission? Rev.Dr. Emmanuel Rajan Our nation India is a vast nation with more than 600,000 villages in it. While more than 500,000 villages have no Churches in them, people in more than 300,000 villages have never heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It may sound unbelievable, yet it is true to its core. There are more than 4500 people groups in India . The Nation of India needs to be reached with the good news. There are thousands of people in India, perishing without the Saving Knowledge of One True God Jesus Christ. We have to fulfil the will of God I Tim2: 4  which says “God our Saviour, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth . We have to involve in God’s mission: Because it is God’s command "Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to all creation." (Mark 16:15) With these words, Jesus made it clear exactly what His disciples were to do - they were to spread His teachings in His name, preaching sa...
